About
As a devoted volunteer for a local, no-kill cat shelter I work countless hours and it truly is my passion in life. Deemed
a crazy cat lady by more than one individual, I can’t really argue that fact. However, at no point do I think I have to
look the part of one! Therefore I found myself in an awkward position. I know in my heart of hearts being an animal
advocate is a wonderful thing and as someone who owns a certain passion in life, you want to express yourself in
many ways. Bumper stickers, t-shirts, art on your walls…we all have this personal marketing instinct to advertise
who we are, what we stand for or what we believe. But when I turned to the products on the market today I became
frustrated and disappointed. I had no interest in wearing
rescue apparel with kittens on it, rolling around in a
basket-that’s just not my style! I realized it was time to bring a unique style to a world of people who have some of
the biggest hearts on the planet. I was able to combine my passion, with a void that I feel existed and created Kitty
Chaos designs.

Devoted, comedic, passionate, defensive, a little off kilter, strong, compassionate, crazy and yes-cool- are the
people found in the animal community.

The Name
My first two cats I adopted over 12 years ago came from Washington County Humane Society. I went seeking a
black cat I could name CHAOS because I thought that was the coolest name for a cat! I found her, in a cage with an
orange tabby. “Buy one get one free” they told me as they have a wonderful
Buddy system program to adopt out
more cats.  So, I adopted them both!

Featured to the right are Jax & Chaos. I lost my Chaos 3 years ago from kidney failure and earlier this year I lost Jax
to a severe case of Pancreatitis. They are the roots to what has become a massive love affair with animals and animal
rescue. So Kitty Chaos was named appropriately after Chaos, as she was her
name in every way possible.

Today I have four sassy cats Barbarella, Joey, Frankenstein and Minnie
along with a rotating guest list of foster cats that keep our house bustling and
always entertained. They keep me dedicated and inspired and each of them hold
a special place in my heart.
